VEHICLE PARKING
Resident Parking
- Residents need to register their car make and registration number at the BMS Office using the Park+ app. Click here for details.
- Only as many cars as the number of parking slots allotted to each flatcan be parked inside the complex. Any additional car owned by the resident needs to be parked outside the gate. Fitting in 3 cars in 2 slots, for example, is not allowed.
- Resident cars are to be parked only in their own pre-designated parking slots. If a resident wishes to park his car/additional car in the vacant parking slot of another apartment, then an approval letter/email from the owner of that apartment has to be submitted to the BMS, who will authorise security to allow this.
- Vehicles need to be parked only in demarcated areas and cannot be parked in a way that blocks or obstructs the driveway or the pedestrian walkway or access areas on any side and vehicles should not encroach the adjacent parking slot.
- As the apartment complex cannot be used for any commercial activity, commercial vehicles (especially outsider-owned) like taxis, tempos, auto-rickshaws, etc. cannot be parked in the complex except for the specific purpose of loading/unloading or while waiting for the resident. This is for the security and safety of the residents.
Visitor parking
- Considering the limited availability visitor parking slots, use of visitor parking slots for resident vehicle parking is strictly prohibited. The following penalties shall apply for parking violations:
i) Resident Vehicles parked in visitor parking, wrong parking spots or public areas – Rs. 500/- per day.
ii) In case of repeated violations, appropriate action will be taken such as towing away the vehicle and charging the resident/owner for it.
- Visitor’s vehicles are allowed for parking only in designated parking areas identified by “V” markings. We have about 23 slots for 4 wheelers marked “V” spread across the parking lot and there are green colored signs in the driveway indicating these slots. These are not earmarked / allocated to any tower but can be used by any visitors on first come first serve basis.
- Visitors will be mandatorily asked to make an entry with their details in a visitor register at the entrance gate by security and will be provided with a visitor card (“V” card) which is to be displayed on the dashboard of the parked vehicle to enable security to identify visitor cars. Security is authorised to call up the concerned flat resident to ensure that the V card is displayed on the dashboard under the front windscreen at all times.
- Overnight parking of visitor car is allowed only with prior intimation to the Security & the BMS. Car and Visitor Details should be clearly entered by the visitor in the overnight register. One visitor car per flat is allowed up to a max of 3 days, after which a charge of Rs.200/- per day is applicable and the same can be paid at the BMS office. If the car is parked for more than 7 days a charge of Rs. 500/- per day from the 8th day will be payable. The respective resident/flat owner/tenant who hosts the visitor is liable to pay this charge.
- Vehicles parked inside the compound are at the owner’s risk.
Two-wheelers Parking
- Two-wheelers owned by residents can be parked within resident’s respective designated car park only within demarcated areas or adjacent niches (not in visitor parking). The 2 wheelers owners will have to follow the procedure for registration through Park+ similar to 4-Wheeler rules as mentioned above.
- All staff and visitor 2-wheelers can be parked only in designated 2-wheeler parking areas which are demarcated near Towers E and B.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF RESIDENTS
- The data pertaining to vehicles by apartment has been loaded into ADDA. Residents should check ADDA > My FLAT > Vehicles and report any changes or discrepancies to the BMS by email. This is very important for our security.
- Be Disciplined about parking. Follow all the rules above. Not following parking rules is a serious breach of the Apartment Rules.
- Explain the visitor parking rules to your guests. Inform them they should park only in visitor parking and that a fine applies for wrong parking (Rs. 500). The fine is charged to the concerned resident (or apartment owner).
