HOUSEHOLD STAFF RATE CARDS

The rates and leave for maidservants, drivers, gardeners, etc., are not fixed in 24K Glitterati. Please negotiate it directly with the staff you hire.

GENERAL RULES FOR HOUSEHOLD STAFF

1. The drivers, housemaids, vendors, or any kind of labour/support staff should enter from the main gate only. They should have their ID card on the person always. (The ID card can be made for any of the staff after the due procedure is followed through the BMS office).

2. They shall be checked at the main gate. Smoking, drinking, chewing tobacco and other substances are strictly prohibited. If any of them is found carrying any of these substances, cigarettes, beedis, alcohol, etc., they will be confiscated at the gate and will be returned when they leave the premises.
3. They may bring their two-wheelers inside the premises and park them in the visitors’ parking area or in the residents parking where they are working.
4. Drivers should refrain from speeding while driving their own two-wheelers or the Residents’ Vehicles within the premises.
5. For hassle-free entry, they should show their id cards at the main gate. If they forget to carry their card, they will be asked to make an entry in the visitors’ register, and a call shall be made by security to the concerned Resident/Employer.
6. Male staff may use the exit gate to exit the premises. However, the female staff shall use only the main entrance gate to exit since we have a female security guard stationed at the main gate where mandatory checking is done for the female staff.
7. Drivers, maids and house staff of residents should use the service lift. The other two lifts are only for the residents and their guests. This is a safety measure, and residents are expected to instruct all their staff to strictly follow this.
8. House staff should commute through the parking area only and not the podium level. Children’s caretakers may use the podium when they are accompanying the children.
9. There is a provision for toilets in the parking area. The toilet near D tower, which is also known as the drivers’ room, is for all male staff. The toilet near B tower is reserved for female staff.
10. The drivers are largely expected to be in and around their vehicles. Gambling, playing cards, smoking, staring, ogling, eve-teasing, etc., are strictly not permitted.  This applies to other employees also.
11. They should maintain decorum and decent behaviour on the premises.
12. When any driver, maid or house help is discontinued from service from your apartment please make sure you inform the BMS so the person can be struck out from your flat records. This is vital for safety and security.
